New Covenant in Dadeville Debt-free Miracle

“This year, we stepped into a significant moment in the life of our church: our Year of Jubilee, celebrating 50 years of God’s faithfulness at New Covenant. In anticipation of this milestone, we launched the Jubilee Campaign on Mother’s Day, just seven weeks before the official start of our Jubilee year. The heart behind the campaign was simple but bold. We wanted to see our church step into this new season debt-free and unburdened, fully free to pursue all that God is calling us to. It was a step of faith that invited every person, young and old, to invest in what God is doing. As part of the campaign, we created a Jubilee wall with 365 leaves, each numbered 1 through 365 to represent every day of the year. Each leaf represented a matching pledge amount, and if every leaf was taken, the loan would be paid in full.

In just a matter of weeks, we watched God move. Over $20,000 was raised, and donations began pouring in not only from within our congregation but from across the country, from Oklahoma to Vermont. Families gave sacrificially, children emptied pockets, and every gift was celebrated with the same level of gratitude and joy. The momentum built with each offering, and our hearts were full of awe and expectation. Then, in the sixth week, something miraculous happened. Someone outside our church, simply stirred by what God is doing here, chose to partner with us and gave generously, enough to pay the church off in full.

On the seventh week, we entered into our Jubilee Year. On the very day of our church’s 50th anniversary, we gathered together and burned the church note. It was a powerful and emotional moment that marked not just the end of a debt, but the beginning of a new season of freedom, faith, and expectation. We didn’t just celebrate a financial milestone. We celebrated the faithfulness of God who has carried us through five decades and is still writing our story.”
