Bishop Mike Gray
Mike Gray has served as the Conference Bishop for Alpha Ministries since July 2010. Mike’s leadership background includes pastoral leadership from 1979-2003. In 2004 and 2005, he was the Director of Evangelism and World Missions for Alpha Ministries. From 2005-2010, Mike served as the Chief of Staff for the IPHC Global Ministry Center in Oklahoma City. As COS, he was also the administrative assistant to the Presiding Bishop.
Mike’s leadership and ministry focus includes prayer, Holy Spirit renewal, leadership development, the emerging generation, world missions, and passion for the nation of Israel. Mike’s prophetic preaching and pastoral ministry often releases spiritual refreshing, renewal and restoration in the body of Christ.
Mike has traveled to Israel seven times and conducted ten mission trips to Cuba, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Haiti. In addition, he has traveled in various ministry roles to Canada and ten nations in Asia, Europe, Central America and South America.
Mike’s hobbies include reading, travel, golf, hunting and college football.
Mike is married to the former Karen Harris. They have enjoyed 39 years of marriage, family and ministry together. They are blessed with two children, LeighAnne (Blake) and Kenny (Mary) and two grandchildren, Brodie and AnnaBella. The Grays reside in Montgomery, AL.
Karen Gray
Karen Gray has served alongside her husband Mike in ministry for almost 40 years. She has been the Director of Women’s Ministries in the Alpha Conference since October 2010. Karen is also an office assistant in the Conference Ministry Center. Previously, Karen had a successful career in office management and educational roles in the public sector for 25 years.
Karen has a passion and burden for ministry to women. She loves women of all ages and backgrounds. She is intentional about leading women to discover and fulfill their God-given destiny. Karen and her leadership team plan relevant training, workshops, and creative conferences, to engage and empower women of all generations. In addition, she loves to mentor and encourage ministers’ wives to serve alongside their husbands.

Rick Fountain
Rick Fountain is an ordained minister in the International Pentecostal Holiness Church.
He and his wife Tammy have served as Christian School Administrators, Youth Pastors, Executive Pastors, Church Planters, District Director/Superintendent of New York and New England regions, and as Lead (Senior) Pastors. These experiences took them to churches in Florida, Maryland, Tennessee, Alabama, and New York City.
In New York City, they served as Lead Pastors of Metro Christian Center in Brooklyn and as Executive Pastors/COO for Metro World Child (formerly known as Metro Ministries). Metro is the home of the world’s largest Sunday School for children, founded by Pastor Bill Wilson. Rick also brings the experience of serving as the IPHC National Director of Church Planting and Revitalization based out of the church’s Global Ministry Center in Oklahoma City.
The Fountains have two grown children; son Scott (Megan) and daughter Chrissy (Alvin) and four grandchildren.
Rick serves as the Director of Healthy, Growing, Multiplying Churches for Alpha Ministries.
Joy Beiler
Joy Beiler has served in various administrative and ministry roles in the Alpha Conference Ministry Center since 1996. She began her service as a teenager by volunteering to work in the Christian Education Department office. Joy has also served as the office receptionist, administrative assistant, and as the Conference bookkeeper. Currently, Joy serves as the executive assistant to Bishop Mike Gray and is the Discipleship Ministries Coordinator for Alpha. She is an ordained minister as well.
Joy is married to Jason Beiler. They serve as Lead Pastors of LifeChange Church in Greenville, AL. The Beilers have three children: Elizabeth, Jude and Lydia. The family makes their home in Greenville, AL.
Angie Simpson
Angie Simpson has served as the bookkeeper for the Alpha Conference Ministry Center since April 2009. In addition, Angie also assists the CMC team with receptionist and administrative responsibilities. She has over 20 years of office and bookkeeping experience. Angie studied accounting at Troy University.
Angie has four children: Scott, Tyler, Corey and Jenna. Angie and her family reside in Prattville, AL.
