Easter testimonies from several of our Conference churches have been pouring into the Conference Office. I am very happy to share with you how the Lord moved in our churches on Easter and the following Sunday. Be encouraged Alpha Family, the Lord is in our midst! He is moving and changing lives! – Bishop Jason
The Connection|Pelham, AL |Pastor Wendy Davis-Lovell
“We give God all the praise for the packed house on Easter Sunday, with more than double in attendance and to best of our knowledge 25 visiting families. All Kid’s services were busting at the seams and the kids heard the gospel of Jesus. Five children gave their lives to Jesus that morning! The JOY of His Resurrection was evident in His house. It was nothing but God moving throughout the service with 16 adults surrendering their life to follow Jesus! They were shown how everything changes when Jesus shows up.
We celebrated after service with a HUGE Easter Egg Hunt, inflatables, games, food trucks and train rides. Fun was definitely had by all. With The Lord’s guidance and the tools used for “the wave” our teams scored a HUGE touchdown for the Kingdom of God. I couldn’t be more honored to serve such amazing people who genuinely love Jesus. God is so good. – Pastor Wendy Davis-Lovell * The Connection had a Baptism the Sunday after Easter.
Harvest Christian Center | Cantonment, FL—Pastor William Strickland
“Harvest Christian Center had a total of 356 in attendance on Easter Sunday. We had 19 adults in the Worship center give their hearts to the Lord and 8 children in kids church! At the last staff meeting, we had set an attendance goal of 350 for Easter and 250 for the week after. So, let’s get ready for ‘Pigs in Flight!’ (new sermon series)”- Lisa Strickland
Victory Chapel | Fayetteville, TN | Pastor Charles Mayo
Pastor Charles Mayo reports this testimony the Sunday after Easter: “What a day at Victory Chapel! After observing the Lord’s Supper, people claimed the benefits of salvation. There were spiritual, emotional, and physical healings! Praise God!”
New Song Family Church | Decatur, AL | Pastor Adrian Mostella
“We had our largest gathering to date on Easter. God’s presence was evident to everyone in the building. We had 3 salvations. One man in attendance said, “This Easter communion meant much more than just partaking in communion.” He expressed that “the communion had meaning and I was able to examine my life and consider my Savior who died for me.” The Sunday following Easter we had Baptism Sunday, this gentleman along with 10 others were baptized!” – Pastor Adrian Mostella
* Editor ‘s Note :This was a special Baptism for the Mostella’s as Pastor Adrian and Wendy baptized their daughter Adelyn. (see picture to the right). May the Lord’s hand be upon Adelyn all the days of her life and may she follow whole-heartedly after Jesus.
New Covenant Church | Dadeville, AL | Pastor Guy Hannum
“At New Covenant Church’s Easter service, we experienced a powerful gathering of 305 individuals, including 71 guests. We witnessed 1 person accepting salvation, another being baptized in the Holy Spirit, and a heartwarming
rededication. During this rededication, a young man named Kaden reno
unced practicing witchcraft and allowed us to share his testimony with the church. He was visibly happier and lighter as he left.
Our service commenced with the joyful energy of our kids’ ministry, as they shared verses, led us in uplifting songs, and even showcased a young talent playing “Jesus Loves Me” on the piano. The atmosphere was truly inspiring, setting the tone for a memorable day.
The culmination of our service was marked by 4 children getting baptized. Following these holy moments, we had an egg hunt and a brief visit from the Easter bunny, bringing smiles to both young and old alike. Overall, our Easter service was an incredible testament to faith, community, and the transformative power of God’s love.” – Kasey Selvanayagam
Faith Church | East Brewton, AL | Pastor Steve Massingill
“We had and amazing Easter celebration!! Saturday we gathered for an Easter Funday followed by the Easter story read and shared by my wife Tanya.
Easter Sunday we entered the Sanctuary singing “Because He Lives” followed by a powerful message celebrating our Risen Savior and accepting the challenge of proclaiming the Gospel to the world. I received so many texts and had one-on-one conversations saying, “I know Jesus did this for me, and I’m ready to walk in my call and His plans !”- Pastor Steve Massingill
