94th Annual Session & 13th Quadrennial Conference
Registration for the Quadrennial Conference was 70 certified delegates; total attendance was around 120. Bishop Tommy McGhee, IPHC Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Discipleship Ministries, was stellar in presiding over the conference.
From the outset, Bishop McGhee was sensitive to the Holy Spirit, at times with prophetic unction. His ministry was excellent, timely and well received. It was an honor to have Bishop McGhee preside over the Kingdom business of the day.
Bishop Mike Gray was reelected by acclamation to serve his third term as Conference Superintendent. Jason Beiler was reelected by acclamation to serve as the Assistant Superintendent. Jonathan Pate, Jon Potter and Al Bethea were also elected by acclamation to serve as Executive Council members. Congratulations to all! The 2018 Bylaws Committee report was adopted as presented. One significant addition is a Sabbatical provision for senior pastors who have served seven consecutive years in the same church.
Thank the Lord for the “unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” that permeated the 13th Quadrennial Conference Session. It was very special day indeed.
